At Departed Soles, crafting a proper Gluten Free Beer begins with making sure all equipment is not only clean and sanitary, but free from beer stone, hop sediment, yeast particles, and protein residue, which may contain gluten.  On top of standard CIP processes, we use a custom blend of cleaning chemicals to ensure all tanks, hoses, pipes, etc. cannot transmit gluten into our products brewed with 100% Gluten Free Ingredients

Our heart and 'sole' goes in to every recipe we put out, and you'll never find a GF beer with our name on it that we don't think would cut it with a gluten drinking customer. In order to do that, we work with world class ingredient suppliers, all of whom certify the grain, yeast, and other options Gluten Free, and handle it properly, free from contamination risk. Many are even organic! These beers aren't reduced, or removed

Ensuring that a beer brewed with 100% Gluten Free Ingredients stays free from contamination is no joke. We understand the health risk, and are heavily invested in protecting you. Two of our Fermenters have never seen Gluten-Beer, and we have a dedicated canning line setup for our options brewed with 100% GF Ingredients. All equipment goes through our proprietary cleaning process, including the dedicated gluten free draft lines.

OPTIONS BREWED WITH 100% GLUTEN FREE INGREDIENTS

Gluten Free Craft Beer fans deserve options, and damn good ones! You shouldn't have to travel through the gum drop forest or traverse a rickity red bridge to get something to consume. Something that's just "good" or "palatable," should not be acceptable, either! 

 

Our Gluten Free Friends deserve the quality, flavor, and variety that the industry is known for. As such, all of our options brewed with 100%Gluten Free Ingredients rotate throughout the year and season. 

*PLEASE NOTE* ANY DEPARTED SOLES BEER IN 16oz CANS CONTAINS GLUTEN. IN KEGS, THESE WILL FEATURE OUR #DefiinitelyNotGlutenFree KEG COLLARS. ALL DSBC BEER BREWED WITH 100% GLUTEN FREE INGREDIENTS WILL BE IN 12oz CANS AND LIST 100% OF THE INGREDIENTS ON THE CAN. THESE KEGS WILL FEATURE SPECIFIC KEG COLLARS MARKED GLUTEN FREE.

Pier 13 Beer is the only gluten containing beer in 12oz cans and are only available at their restaurants.

Departed Soles rotates through the following options brewed with 100% certified gluten free ingredients, as well as others, and always strives to have at least four varieties available on draft in the Jersey City Lagers & Ales Tasting Room at 150 Bay Street!

Indemnification And Trademark Policy

American Craft Beer, LLC d/b/a Departed Soles Brewing Company respects the intellectual property rights of others. We have a policy of rejecting events, names, artwork, product submissions, etc. that violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws. Pursuant to Title 17 of the United States Code, Section 512, we have implemented procedures for receiving written notification of claimed copyright infringement and for processing such claims in accordance with such law. Assertions that an entity’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right is being infringed by a user of American Craft Beer, LLC’s space, products, or services, shall provide written notice to the following agent for notice of claims of infringement: Legal Department, C/O American Craft Beer, LLC d/b/a Departed Soles Brewing Company. PO Box 272. Jersey City, NJ 07303. In order for us to respond to a notice, it must: (i) contain your entity’s physical or electronic signature; (ii) identify the copyrighted work, trademark, or other intellectual property alleged to have been infringed; (iii) identify the allegedly infringing material in a sufficiently precise manner to allow us to locate that material; (iv) contain adequate information by which we can contact you (including postal address, telephone number, and e-mail address); (v) contain a statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted material, trademark, or other intellectual property is not authorized by the owner, the owner's agent, or the law; (vi) contain a statement that the information in the written notice is accurate; (vii) contain the USPTO registration identifier and category identifier for the alleged mark, and (viii) contain a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right owner.

By working with American Craft Beer, LLC d/b/a Departed Soles Brewing Company, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold American Craft Beer, LLC d/b/a Departed Soles Brewing Company and its affiliates harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or relating to your use of American Craft Beer, LLC’s Space, Products, and the Service, your violation of this Agreement, or your violation of any rights of another. While American Craft Beer, LLC respects the IP rights of others, Fraudulent Representation when submitting such a claim shall subject the claimant to legal action including, but not limited to, damages, legal fees, revenue losses, product cost replacement, and emotional distress. American Craft Beer, LLC does not respond to bullying tactics by entities, no matter their size or strength, and will not respond to false claims or egregious assertions that mistake clear parody for infringement, or non-class-specific trademarks for its usage. Parody is protected by the First Amendment and any entity that attempts to stifle our business by negating our First Amendment rights shall be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law and any costs associated with defending these Constitutional Rights.
